A classic set places one extension on each natural lash — the mascara look, right for a first time and for anyone whose own lashes are reasonably dense. No oil-based products near the eyes, no rubbing, no sleeping face-down into the pillow. If lids stay red or itchy beyond a day, have the set removed professionally instead of waiting it out; pulling extensions off yourself takes natural lashes along.
