Creating Fully Autonomous Beauty Studios for Hairdressers with 24/7 Access

We decided to create and test a business model that no one had previously explored—fully autonomous beauty spaces for hairdressers with 24/7 access. The idea was to eliminate human oversight and allow professionals to rent and pay for space through an app, as well as manage or cancel bookings in case of unforeseen circumstances.


To bring this concept to life, we rented a commercial space and began the process of designing and equipping it. We completed renovations and furnished the rooms with high-quality equipment. One of the key innovations was making the studio doors, both internal and external, operable via smart devices. We integrated a code system into the app that allowed users to unlock doors directly from their smartphones, without needing physical keys. Additionally, we incorporated features that enabled users to turn on and off electricity and electrical appliances through the app.

The project quickly gained traction among hairdressers and their clients, particularly when the country was affected by the coronavirus pandemic, which prevented people from working in traditional, open spaces.

With 24/7 access, these beauty studios could be used even at night, providing a much-needed solution during those challenging times.
We opened several such spaces, and after they were all sold, we decided to focus our efforts on refining and developing our product further. Throughout our time working with the professionals who used our studios, we gathered valuable feedback from them.

This feedback helped us identify key pain points that we needed to address through the development of our product, and we will discuss these insights in upcoming articles!

All offices were fully equipped with everything necessary: chairs, a tabletop, professional lighting, a sink built into the tabletop, a smart TV, a washing machine for fresh towels with a drying function, towel heaters, cabinets for storing tools and cosmetics, robes, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, as well as high-quality finishes. Additionally, we specifically chose a location with free parking for the convenience of our clients.
