revenue streams in one booking: the room and the gear.
What the platform takes over
Three processes a studio stops running by hand
Schedule, money and gear in one place, on shared rules. Nothing to reconcile between a spreadsheet, a messenger and manual transfers.
A schedule where a session is a block, not an hour
A podcast is recorded over two to four hours, and between sessions you need time: reset the mics, air the room, see the guests out. The buffer is set once in the room and holds itself after that.
- Minimum length — you can refuse a 30-minute booking.
- Buffer between sessions — the neighbouring slot physically cannot be taken.
- Rescheduling — with a price recalculation for the new date.
Example weekly grid of a room: evening hours almost all paid, one slot awaiting payment, daytime hours free, some time closed by the studio.
Prepayment instead of "we’ll swing by around eight"
A session is confirmed only after payment. A crew that did not show up at 21:00 no longer costs you an empty evening — the slot was paid in advance or was never taken at all.
- Booking commission — 0%. BeShare has one platform subscription, no cut of your revenue.
- Refunds on your rules — partial or full, no manual transfers.
- Hour packs — a podcast comes out every week, so the client buys hours upfront.
42 sessions · 9 regular shows on hour packs
Mics and cameras — a studio’s second revenue
Dynamic mics, lavaliers, recorders, cameras, light. Priced per hour, per day or per item, with your own stock per line. The client adds gear to the session themselves instead of asking over chat "is there a third mic?".
- BeShare gear catalog — you get found by a model: "where to record on a Shure SM7B".
- Consumables and extras — water and coffee for guests, windscreens, memory cards.
- Demand in view — how many sessions go with four mics and how many with two.

Evenings cost more than days

Hour packs for shows
A podcast records every week. The client pays for 10, 20 or 50 hours upfront, drawn down on booking and returned on cancellation.
Reviews and rating
Only someone who actually recorded with you can leave a review. The rating recalculates itself and works in search.
Occupancy analytics
Revenue by day and month, which hours sell first, which room earns more, who comes back.
Instant notifications
New session, payment, cancellation, reschedule, gear order — arrive instantly in the app and by email.

Name, description and rules — separately per language. International shows read your studio in their own.
Access
A 22:30 recording — without you there
The most awkward thing about a podcast studio is that people record in the evening, but someone has to let them in. The route, entrance and parking are public on the page. The door code, Wi-Fi password and a "how to get in" video unlock for the client only after confirmed payment.
- Public: how to get there, photos of the entrance and door, where to park in the evening.
- After payment: door code, intercom, Wi-Fi, instructions and an entry video.
- Cancellation — access closed. The data is visible only on an active session.
Active session access valid 20:00 — 23:00
New clients
Your studio gets found while you mix the episode
The studio page lives in three places at once: in BeShare search by city and map, in the gear catalog by a specific mic or camera model, and in AI assistant answers when someone asks where to record a podcast.
- Search and map — filters by price, rating, radius and space type.
- Gear catalog — "where to record on a Shure SM7B" leads to your studio.
- Always-fresh data — a live calendar and prices, so the recommendation is accurate.

Where in Rotterdam can two of us record a podcast on Thursday evening, with video?

The assistant only sees what is actually free and payable right now.
Before and after
What changes in how a studio runs
| Process | Usually | With BeShare |
|---|---|---|
| Booking | Chats, voice notes, "is Thursday evening free?" | The client picks a slot in the calendar themselves — around the clock |
| Confirmation | On someone’s word, no guarantee | Only after payment — a session without money is not confirmed |
| Gap between sessions | Kept in your head, sometimes forgotten | The buffer is set in the room, the neighbouring slot cannot be taken |
| Evening hours | Cost the same as daytime | Your own rate for peak, weekends and specific dates |
| Late entry | Someone drives over to open up at 22:00 | Code and Wi-Fi unlock for the client after payment |
| Gear | "We’ll find a third mic" — and not always do | A line with price and stock — right in the booking |
| Regular shows | You hold the slot on trust | The hour pack is paid upfront and draws down itself |
| Money | Cash and transfers, reconciled by hand | Straight to your account, booking commission 0% |
Money
We don’t make money on your sessions
The client pays straight to your account. BeShare never steps into the money chain or keeps a cut — neither on the room nor the gear.
A fixed platform fee instead of a share of revenue. Fill your studio twice as much — pay the same.
Profile and setup are free. You can leave any time, and the session history and client base stay yours.

Questions
Briefly about money and rules
How much does BeShare take per session?
Zero. The client pays by card straight to your account — the platform never steps into the money chain or keeps a cut. BeShare earns on the subscription, not on your revenue.
Can I forbid bookings shorter than two hours?
Yes. A room has a minimum length and a buffer before and after a session — a slot shorter than the minimum is simply not offered, and the neighbouring hour physically cannot be taken while cleaning and resetting the mics is underway.
How do I make evening hours cost more than daytime?
Through pricing tiers: the room’s base price plus separate rules for weekdays after 18:00, weekends and specific dates. A priority rule overrides the base one, and the price in the booking and refund is computed by it automatically.
How does a client get in late in the evening if we are not there?
The route, entrance photos and parking are public on the page. The door code, intercom, Wi-Fi password and a "how to get in" video show only on a confirmed and paid session — and stop being available after a cancellation.
Are mics and cameras counted separately from the room?
Yes. Each item has its own price per hour, per day or per item and its own stock, and the client adds it to the session. Your studio also lands in the BeShare gear catalog: someone searching for a specific mic or camera model sees you have it.
We have a show recorded every Wednesday. Can we sell hours upfront?
Yes, those are hour packs: you create a pack for selected rooms, the client pays once, and hours are drawn down on each booking. On cancellation the hours return to the pack instead of burning — for a weekly show it is the calmest format.
