Coworking vs working from home vs a private office
Three ways to get work done, each with a real trade-off. The right one depends on your stage, your team and how much focus home actually gives you.
Home
Free and zero commute, but easily undone by distractions, no separation between work and life, and isolation. Great for some, quietly draining for others.
Coworking
You pay only for the days you use, get fast internet, meeting rooms on demand and other people around — without a lease. The middle path: more structure than home, far more flexible than an office.
Private office
Total control and a fixed base for a team, but the highest cost and the least flexibility. Worth it once headcount and routine justify a permanent space. Many teams grow through coworking first.
