I have long straight hair and wanted to use this to give more volume at the roots, I got a shampoo and conditioner duo in one of the LF beauty boxes. I normally switch between Olaplex and Purology (purple) shampoos and conditioners which leave my hair in great condition and I can run my fingers through and it is really soft. This however was not great at all! I washed with the shampoo, (it doesn’t lather at all) and added the conditioner only to mid and ends and after rinsing and drying it felt like it had a weird build up and it was like it never dried with a residue left on my hair. I normally wash my hair 2-3 times a week max but I did it as soon as I got home (as I used them as travel miniatures). Maybe the idea is that it leaves this thick residue so it gives you more volume and maybe it works on shorter hair or thinner hair to give that look - but for me it wasn’t suitable for my hair and I didn’t like how it made it feel.
