I like the formula of the mascara, but the brush doesn't do a very good job...

I like the formula of the mascara, but the brush doesn't do a very good job separating my lashes. The brush seems to always causes me to get mascara on the skin next to my eye and on my eye lid, which means I have to clean up around my eyes after I'm finished applying. I wish the brush head was a little smaller and the bristles more fine to separate lashes and reduce the globbiness.
