I’m not quite sure what the consistency of the cleanser is supposed to be. The first several uses seemed to be separated as a clear oil came out, even after shaking the bottle. Now, it’s more evenly mixed but I would not describe it as a “gel” or “balm” - definitely liquid and would not sit on my face like in the product photos.
