I bought this product because of all the great reviews I've read on some other sites to address some very fine lines I've noticed starting around the crow's feet area and to improve texture specifically around my eyes. I already use another brand retinol (0.5%) product to the rest of my face every night without any kind of buffer. I have no problem with the other brand retinol however when I started using this I would notice some irritation where it was applied. I've slowly built up every other night and used a buffer cream in hopes that my skin just had to get used to it. However after almost a year, I have horrible irritation when I use this and itching also I never had an issue with bags and puffiness before and now it seems to be almost daily. I have stopped using the product and the irritation, itchiness, and eye bags have slowly began to resolve.
