I ordered this for my 13-year-old son. His hair is curly and he’s been growing it out lately and learning to take care of it. In addition to more frequent conditioning, I wanted to get a pillowcase for him that wouldn’t provide too much friction overnight. This pillowcase is smooth and soft to the touch and is a nice neutral shade. He tends to run hot, so the fact that the pillowcase is a lightweight material is an added bonus for us. (Note, though, that though it’s light it doesn’t feel flimsy; it has a nice sturdy feel.) It’s difficult to say how much the pillowcase is helping because he still plays with his hair and runs his fingers through it more than he should. But I have seen a bit of an improvement in the amount of frizz and messiness of his curls. He says that he notices a difference, too. Overall, I think this pillowcase is a good addition to a curly haircare routine and would recommend it.
