After reading all the positive reviews I thought I would try this serum to treat the redness I have from using a dermatologist recommended retinal product . I was concerned about the initial sting upon applying. I spoke with someone in customer service who said this was normal and would dissipate with continued use which it has. The youth serum does has a light scent like the beach that does not linger after drying. It does appear sticky when you apply but as soon as your skin absorbs the feeling goes away. I have been using for about 2 weeks, twice a day, and the serum has calmed the redness and my skin looks clearer and more toned. I suspect if I wasn't using a retinal at night I would not need to apply an oil free moisturizer after. I am dealing with cystic acne and aging issues and this serum has made a dramatic change for the better how my skin on my face, neck and chest look. It is a shame due to covid and mask wearing that the only one who sees my glowing skin is my husband and people on zoom.
