The bottle of the SkinMedica Essential Defense Mineral Shield I ordered in late April 2026 expires in November 2026. It’s also from an old batch which does not have the newer packaging that’s shown on the Dermstore website. These skincare items should have at least a one year expiration date or a longer shelf life. To make matters worse, dealing with customer service to start a return and a refund has been a frustrating and terrible experience. I’ve sent them multiple photos of the sealed product and exchanged five or six messages with them. It is unbelievably hard to request returns through Dermstore.
