I have been using this product for years, and I love it. It keeps those pesky blemishes at bay, and my skin looks smooth and feels nice. Each time I have tried to “level up” to the 0.5, my sensitive skin tells me to step back down, so I suppose I’ll forever remain at this entry-level retinol percentage, but still I think it is very effective for what I want it to do. It contains no added fragrance, glides on smoothly, and at one pump per evening, lasts me about six months (I swap out the bottle when it becomes too yellow so I never reach the end—not sure if I need to do this, but I do). My skin is 47 years old, enjoyed outdoor life and tanning without sunscreen for most of those years (been at SPF50+ everyday for only a few years and WOW the difference!), is sensitive/reactive, normal to combination, and has various hyperpigmentation issues. In spite of my abusing my skin for so long, it is soft and smooth; my only wrinkles are expression lines. I credit this product and daily sunscreen.
