I gave this to my mom to try since she dyed here hair blonde. She said that the shampoo stripped her hair of her natural oils too much and she would be concerned to use it of newly bleached/toned hair. As far as the neutralizing aspect, it did seem to work. Overall, she wouldn't recommend this product because of how much it strips your hair.
