I have a love hate relationship with this product. It holds amazing but it is so thick and it takes a lot to smooth in so that you can't see the whiteness in your hair. I didn't notice any flaking or peeling and it washed out fairly easily. However, the smell reminds me of the old school famous N brand face cleansing cream. It smells like a menthol smell and I wasn't a fan of that.
