The mascara itself is fine, I would say it's not better or worse than others I have used before. I was looking for something to help build volume. What I was not expecting is the smell..I don't know if it's just past it's prime, but the smell is disgusting! I can't even comment on how good the mascara is really, because I can't use it due to the smell.
