When I use this on my hands and legs, I notice that any nicks or redness from previous scars or scrapes heal and lighten much more quickly. I like to mix it with Rosehip seed oil for better results. It's not a miracle worker, but it does deliver noticeable results. I will repurchase when I'm out :)
