I've read some reviews stating this is mostly glorified aloe vera. I'm not sure I would agree with that though. A little bit goes a long way. I've used it on my split fingertips (dry, cold weather here). The healing time is drastically reduced, needing only a couple of nights of this (compared to other healing ointments I've used for several, several nights in a row). I would highly recommend this product.
