Over recent years I have developed an increasingly itchy scalp and have realised that anything with scent in it is a trigger for me. I switched to this from Olaplex, and while it doesn’t give the same results (it can in fact strip your hair a little bit), it also doesn’t give me the itchy scalp which was the end goal. I found that pairing it with a rich conditioner seemed to counteract some of this, as long as the conditioner doesn’t come into contact with my scalp. Anyway the relief of not needing to scratch my head constantly far outweighs the downsides so I will continue with it. My biggest criticism is the price, I think it is very expensive but the alternatives are limited.
