I received the 118ml Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant for free from Influenster for my honest opinion and used it twice a day for a little over three weeks. At first I was very excited and hopeful that it would perhaps help with a bit of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and hopefully a little with the perimenopausal hormonal acne on my chin. Unfortunately, as per the before and after photos there is absolutely no difference and didn’t do much of anything. It didn’t help with any existing acne or slow down new acne at all. I did like the fact that it was easy to apply (I used cotton rounds to apply), absolutely no sting on any irritated skin, and had no perfume type smell. I also was very optimistic in the beginning because my skin peeled a little the morning of the second day of use, but that did stop quickly and no other skin exfoliation was seen. I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it’s not quite for me.
