Easy to use and less messy than some of the liquid highlighters. Maybe a bit on the sticky side? The brush is not necessary but might be handy to have while travelling. It has a nice effect which isn't too sparkly for me. I don't use it everyday so it will last a fair while. A good purchase when discounted, not sure it's worth full price as there's not as much product in it as first appears
