I really wanted to love MCM Diamond Eau de Parfum, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work for me. At first spray, it seems fresh and pleasant, with the citrus and juniper giving a nice opening. But as it settles and develops, the scent becomes overwhelming and unbearable for me. The packaging is nice though. It also irritates my nose, making it impossible to wear for more than a few minutes. I think it just didn’t mix well with my skin’s pH, because instead of the richness and depth promised, it turns into something sharp and unpleasant. The bottle is beautiful, but sadly, this fragrance and I are not a match.
