I think this is a very good product; it's quite gentle! The brand is excellent too; they use good ingredients, cruelty-free, etc. However, it was a little too gentle for me and I think my skin prefers a leave-on exfoliant, something that will deeply penetrate and clean out my pores. This is more helpful for surface dullness. If you have sensitive skin and can't handle stronger exfoliants, you might like this product! There is not enough product for twice, everyday use (so it's a little pricey in that sense), but it's so gentle so you could use it every other day or something. There is no obnoxious scent. It is clay-based and dissolves pretty quickly, foams well when you add water. It only has a slight graininess. I'm sure if used over time, it could help brighten and smooth skin.
