i have extremely dry skin and have tried many popular, not cheap body moisturizers and herbal body oils that others have sworn have worked for their own chronically dry skin...none have worked for me. I decided to give the Goop body butter a try...it passed my ingredients and fragrance free criteria, the price point and ounce size was decent and off I went w the purchase commitment. I was skeptical it would work but the body butter really worked on my difficult to moisturize and stay moisturized areas: elbow, arms, hands and feet. I have already purchased a second jar so I won't be out. The texture is beautifully whipped, absorbs well, and there is the subtlest whiff of a most beautiful outdoors ocean breezy scent to it even though it is a fragrance free moisturizer and not dizzying in any way.
