I love the actual serum but half way through, the white begins to flake off...

I love the actual serum but half way through, the white begins to flake off on the cap so every time you use the product you are left with little white specs all over your hands and face. I’ve bought two of these hoping the first one was just a random defect but sadly, it’s happened now to the 2nd one. For how much this is and for how “high quality” Goop is, this is a bummer:(
