These are intense if you have not worked your way up to such a high vitamin c concentration. It stings upon application for the first few minutes, but goes away. My skin looks great the morning after using. I cannot speak to the efficacy of the aminofill ingredient, but have seen brightening effects from the Vit. C. Pro: - I love the delivery approach - capsules keep the product from going bad but also ensure that I use the same amount of product each time- one capsule is the perfect amount of product for my face and neck. Con: - These are designed for night-time use and I would not recommend applying in the AM if you have even somewhat sensitive skin. To me this is a con because I like the idea of getting my vitamin C in the AM for added antioxidant protection, and to allow me to focus on other actives, like retinol, in the evening. I don't blame the product for this, I should have read more thoroughly before purchasing.
