[This review was written by my daughter Sarah.] I discovered Éminence recently after visiting a holistic organic spa, and I loved the way it made my skin feel during my facial, so I went to Dermstore and bought this, remembering that the esthetician used this on my acne. I am pleased to report that it is just as lovely at home. This cleanser is different in a number of ways from other acne cleansers I have tried. Éminence is natural and safe for skin, and does not irritate even my most sensitive acne spots (like my right cheek), but I also have seen results from it within a week. It actively clears away impurities while making my skin feel smooth and even giving it a glow. It is rare to find an acne cleanser that also has probiotics, as I think less high-end products assume that bacteria cannot be good for acne. In fact, the opposite is true: what is best is to feed the skin with as much healthy bacteria as possible, so that it regulates itself and is not stripped dry - that is when oil is produced. As a last note, this cleanser has a wonderful cucumber scent that I was delighted to see came from real cucumber extract, not an artificial fragrance! Overall, I love the experience I have had so far with Eminence, and hope to try their Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer next to build out my routine!
