I’m already a Dr. Loretta fan so I was eager to find out how this would help my skin. It has milky and lightweight texture that glides on easily. I pat it on as directed and let it dry for a few minutes before adding serums. It gives me a hint of a glow and definitely feels like your skin really drinks it in. I like that it doesn’t feel heavy, thick or sticky so everything else applied after also feels like it can do its job by really absorbing instead of just sitting on top piling. I can’t say I can tell if my skin barrier actually being protected but it does feel nice going on. I have only found one other product similar to this one (Rhode) and I like them both equally, although Rhode does give that optical sheen a tad more.
