I used this product for 2 weeks. It is gentle and easy to use (foaming) but slightly drying after wash. I have 2 queries: 1) what is the final pH of this product? Is it pH 5.5 that is the skin's natural pH? 2) I note that potassium hydroxide is added. Potassium hydroxide, like sodium hydroxide, is a strong alkali that can dry and irritate the skin. So I prefer to use products without these strong alkali. Is potassium hydroxide added to create foams or lather like saponification? Or to buffer ph? But that cannot be right because I don't see the other ingredients as strongly acidic as to require adding a strong alkaline bufferer like potassium hydroxide. Your clarification would be appreciated.
