This is my most expensive, lavish and luxurious fragrance purchase ever made. The original creed aventus DNA after owning every dupe 'in the world' (said in a Jeremy Clarkson voice). The opening is smooth (no lemon pledge cleaner) and the balance between citrus and smokey is very refined, albeit less smokey/woodsy than I would have liked. People have told me that creed lasts for days, however upon testing a few sprays on my hand, the fragrance starts beautifully for a few minutes and rapidly pulls back to a skin scent. It would give Houdini a run for his money because it soon disappears. I know allbeauty is a trusted seller, but had this bottle arrived from a smaller company, I would have immediately assumed it was a fake. Creed has reformulated and is a shadow of it's former self. What ever was said about aventus of yesteryear, certainly does not apply to this bottle.
