My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are that I JUST started using it, so i have no long term effects & on first use, the smell was lightly kinda funky--but that means it's unscented which is what I must have. And i haven't noticed any funkiness smell-wise since. I've quickly become a major fan of this brand after getting a sample of it from Dermstore! So, I decided to try this serum for everyday (I love the 40 ampoules). I am a .1% tretinoin user and nothing seemed to calm my dry skin. I didn't realize my skin barrier needed care over all else. This serum is a wonderful step in my daily attempt to repair my barrier and eliminate dry, irritated skin. I'm pretty much back to having my good skin back. I used La Mer products for a very long time and it just wasn't what my skin needed, not to mention my wallet. I am so happy I came across this line of products. My skin feels pretty plump and hydrated when i use it (i'm easing my skin into it). That said--I'd recommend this product!
