I noticed a difference after just one use at 0.5mm. I have a surgical scar between my eyebrows that was much smoother and a couple of stubborn sun spots disappeared besides being overall just smoother and more luminous looking. I did go up to 1mm the second time over the scar and some deeper wrinkles without needing numbing cream but I have a pretty high pain tolerance. If you're on the fence just get it, you won't regret it.
