While it's gentle, if I stop using it, within a week, I notice a change! It's a viscous gel, so it pumps out and glides on easily. Smells great and not oily. The glycolic acid turns over dead cells gently, so you look refreshed and dewey. It's also very hydrating to the skin overnight. I forgot to reorder it and my skin became noticeably drier and more "aged" within 2 months!!
