I always use this to tame my curly hair before wash day, I use it in conjunction with a leave-in conditioner to do slick backs and it always works excellently. It’s difficult to get the hang of at first (I would always use too much which can make your hair look greasy and a bit weird) but if you use it towards the root/middle of your hair instead of the ends it’s great
